Hello, my name is Katherine (Kassie) Burt, and I am a first grade teacher at the Bullock School. I'd like to share a bit of information about myself. I graduated from Rowan University and began my teaching career right here at Bullock. This is my 25th year teaching! I have taught 1st grade, 2nd grade, and 2nd grade Inclusion.
I am married, and we have two awesome kids who are 19(Richard) and 16(Kimberly). We have two Pembroke Welsh Corgis (Dash and Bo) and 3 cats (Dutch, Momma, and Morris). My daughter and I are currently fostering 2 kittens. As you can see, I love animals.
When I am not teaching, I love spending time with my family and taking care of our pets. We often visit my parent's mountain house, where we relax, fish, swim, and boat. I also enjoy watching the Phillies and the Eagles. I love spending as much time as possible with my nieces and nephews. I also enjoy reading and visiting the beach.
