Dear Bullock Families,

 It is with great excitement that I write this letter of introduction to you as the new Assistant Principal of Dorothy L. Bullock Elementary School. I am honored to have the opportunity to help lead a school with such determined students, an extremely dedicated staff, and a supportive school community. I feel very fortunate to be part of this school and to support the students, staff, and families.  

 I have had the pleasure of growing up in Glassboro and being taught by professional and dedicated staff like we have today. I have achieved great success because of my positive experiences in Glassboro Public Schools. I have been dedicated to the field of education for more than thirty years. I have worked with students ranging in age from kindergarten through 12th grade in a variety of roles. I have been a substitute teacher (Academy Street School), Student Assistance Counselor, Assistant Director at an alternative school, and Assistant Principal for 21 years. I am thrilled to bring my skills as an educator and leader to Bullock School and to work with you as a partner in education.  

 I view education as a constant process and expect that I will continue to learn much about the uniqueness of Dorothy L. Bullock. Most importantly, I bring a belief that students are at the center of all school-related decisions. I am excited to link my experience, my openness to learn, and my child-centered approach to support our students because the relationships between teachers, administrators, and families are crucial to the success of our students and school.  

 I look forward to meeting you all and working with the students, staff, and community partners to achieve our goals for the 2024-2025 school year. Warm regards for a successful school year!
