The most important part of a student's academic career is both reading and mathematics. We teach the beginning parts of it, but you as the parent are the biggest and best educator your child can have.

Here are a few suggestions for what you can do with your child:

1) Read to your child each and every night.

2) Have a special place to have your child's homework.

3) Have the materials ready to do homework and a set time as well.

4) Listen to your child read to you. Help them sound out the words that he/ she are practicing.

If you stay consistent with these tips, you will improve your child's academic progress.
